Personality:

• Direct: While patient when necessary, Vio’s definitely got Link’s more forthcoming and direct attitude. Which at times, can make him seem rather blunt if he’s not a bit careful. He’s not afraid to say what’s on his mind, which has caused a fair bit of conflict between him and Blue. Nor will he shy away from taking a more direct method to reach his goal, like temporarily gaining the trust of the forces of darkness so he could infiltrate them from the inside.
  
  
• Calm and collected: There is very little that can get to Vio, very rarely losing his composure. He tends to keep himself put together, focused on getting something done rather than be caught up in chaos and letting emotions get the better of him. This is something he described himself as, which seems true.
  
  
• Brainy: As the designated smart one, Vio tends to think. A lot. He also tends to read and definitely has come up with plans befitting of one that’s intelligent. If he sees an opportunity to take advantage of, he’ll take it, like taking some force gems while a fight between Green and Blue happens. Another example of his crafty nature would be when he allied himself with the forces of darkness in order to gain their trust. But done to aid in the quest to save Hyrule.
  
  
• Prideful: While not loud with his pride, Vio does have his moments. Initially, he didn’t want to work as a team, having some of Link’s loner nature. Even when he started working with his fellow Links, his pride tended to show up more as smugness. Vio certainly thinks very highly of himself, confident in his abilities to handle what comes his way.
  
  
• Conscientious: Above all else, Vio is a hero and intends to do his duty. While he has a (mostly) single minded drive to complete whatever goal he has, he doesn’t do anything that goes against his moral code. As he noted in his monologue to Shadow: he never gave up on his hopes and goals while Shadow was willing to betray his partners for personal power. He’s also pretty sympathetic to others, helping to raise Green’s spirit when he noticed Green was down.

Always Keep In Mind: Vio only existed as his own individual for a quest. For the most part, it caused him to ignore his own wants. While he did genuinely befriend Shadow, he still helped banish him away. After all, Shadow was still with the forces of darkness. His momentary hesitancy with shattering the Dark Mirror aside.

It’s currently up in the air, however, if his somewhat “ends justify the means” view will remain in a more casual setting.

What do you want to study at Diatu Magicademy?

[He rubbed the back of his neck, giving a thoughtful look as he thought. Truthfully? Everything he possibly could. Realistically?]
History, creatures… I’d like to understand where I’m at, if I have to stay.

If you knew you could go back to the moment you left, would you leave immediately or continue your studies for a while?

[Vio lifts his head up slightly, quiet for a few moments as he thought. As far as he knew, there was no particular reason for him to go back right away. They’d finish their quest, even if he couldn’t quite figure out when he was pulled here.]

I’d stay. Of course, I’d have to go home eventually. But I’m curious about what I can learn. [And who he could be, with the time and space to relax.]

If your enemy was at Diatu Magicademy, how would you react?

Nothing good would come of Vaati or Ganon if they were here. [Though he very much doubted ‘I’d try to seal them away again’ was an acceptable answer. He couldn’t even do that without The Four Sword or his other counterparts, anyways.] I’d keep an eye on them.

When is it acceptable to resolve a dispute by force?

When people are in danger and all other options failed.

What should the supreme goal of any wizard be?

To use their knowledge and power for good.
